I fell in love with the asymmetrical design, the zen-ish aesthetics and the beautiful color the moment I saw these shoes. So I bought them, tried them, and really wanted to like them, but had to return them eventually.
These shoes are not walker-friendly. I walk ~1 mile to & from work everyday, and noticed very quickly that the soles were not even flexible enough for a short walk. The asymmetrical design, which awkwardly moves against my inner ankle bone while walking, making the situation even worse. So I took them to the gym. I go boxing/bootcamp 4-5 times a week and spinning 1-2 times a week and so I wore these shoes to both classes. These shoes were not noticeably better or worse than the Nike Epic React or and of the other FlyKnits I own. I would have kept them if I only ever wear them inside of the gym or the studio, but sadly that's not the case.That being said, I did get 5+ compliments for these shoes in the couple of times I wore these shoes. They look even better in person, and way less common in the locker room than some of Nike's other running/training shoes.
